About Me

My photo
Thank you for visting my blog. When I started this blog, it was just the vehicle for which I had hoped to share photos of our life in Chicagoland with our loved ones, but it has turned into so much more for me. Life is ever evolving in our household and time no longer stands still. Every moment is precious and worthy of being captured and treasured. In addition, through my love of the camera, I have had the opportunity to meet and also capture moments in others' lives. It is my hope, with this blog, that when my memory fails me, the words and photos on this blog will remind of where we were. History...Through My Glass...

Test Session

I planned to do a session with Roan's buddy, Barret's baby sister, Ainsley, but it was horribly cloudy and rainy. Their house had very little light due to the weather so we took it outside as best as we could. Unfortunately, to compensate for the bad lighting indoors, I upped my ISO very high and then when we went outside, I forgot to readjust it so all of the pictures turned out very noisey. It started to rain so we stopped. I am planning to go back and get more pictures, especially indoors, since their house is so beautiful!

Sweet, beautiful baby girl!

I love her adorable look.

She was so sweet. She kept looking at me when I held her and she looked like she wanted to kiss me and then she leaned in and kissed me. Awww!

Angelic!
Momma and baby girl.
And I couldn't resist. Momma and Barret. What a handsome devil?

I have to say that I am so disappointed in myself. I can't believe I did this. I read about it all of the time on the message boards and then I went ahead and did it too. They are such a beautiful family and I messed it up. I hope the V family will let me go back and try to make it up to them.

Looks like a fun session. There’s been so many times when I forget about my settings. ;) She’s adorable. You’re doing well…keep shooting.

at least you know how to use your settings :-). i'm just finally figuring them out. What kind of camera do you shoot with? And yes, i'm still working on my conversions -- i actually checked out your link to Brenda Acuncius's actions, but unfortunately they're not PSE compatible :-(.
