About Me

My photo
Thank you for visting my blog. When I started this blog, it was just the vehicle for which I had hoped to share photos of our life in Chicagoland with our loved ones, but it has turned into so much more for me. Life is ever evolving in our household and time no longer stands still. Every moment is precious and worthy of being captured and treasured. In addition, through my love of the camera, I have had the opportunity to meet and also capture moments in others' lives. It is my hope, with this blog, that when my memory fails me, the words and photos on this blog will remind of where we were. History...Through My Glass...

Power

I should be sleeping as I am not feeling well, but I'm just so excited that we finally have power again! The following two pictures are from the house that is three doors down from us.

Roan's daycare did not have power on Friday either so I stayed home with him. We spent the morning: playing, doing puzzles that I checked out from the library, laying around our bed and watching movies on the portable DVD player.

Sometimes, high ISO causes really nice noise for black and whites. I love his chubby little legs.
I just am never pleased with my pictures. I admit it, I am a chimper. I have to look at my camera screen between pictures. I delete out the obviously bad pictures. I chock it to the fact that I am still a beginner and only doing this part time. I wonder when I'll be content?
I miss them...I really miss Roan.
I hate it when Blogger does this to me. Why can't I get the paragraphs to be paragraphs?
