About Me

My photo
Thank you for visting my blog. When I started this blog, it was just the vehicle for which I had hoped to share photos of our life in Chicagoland with our loved ones, but it has turned into so much more for me. Life is ever evolving in our household and time no longer stands still. Every moment is precious and worthy of being captured and treasured. In addition, through my love of the camera, I have had the opportunity to meet and also capture moments in others' lives. It is my hope, with this blog, that when my memory fails me, the words and photos on this blog will remind of where we were. History...Through My Glass...

No More Vacation...

...from Mommy's camera that is. Seriously, did he think he got away that easily? Just because I've got some skill building takers, doesn't mean I'll ever forget about my beautiful little son.

These first three are strictly for family. In fact, the next two are blurry, but I love that they show his dimples. I hardly ever capture them.

This is my first attempt at sunburst. I wish the car was not the picture and his face was showing at least a little, but I was so shocked that I got a swing and sunburst picture in one that I had to share it.

hahaha. our poor children, they're going to need therapy when they get older. my kids absolutely hate me when i'm with my camera, so i've resorted to bribing them now :-).

i reread what i wrote and your right! it's not unconventional for our culture, but i was thinking too much like a mica :-) i guess that's what i get for growing up with only micas. maybe what i really meant was inconvenient?
