About Me

My photo
Thank you for visting my blog. When I started this blog, it was just the vehicle for which I had hoped to share photos of our life in Chicagoland with our loved ones, but it has turned into so much more for me. Life is ever evolving in our household and time no longer stands still. Every moment is precious and worthy of being captured and treasured. In addition, through my love of the camera, I have had the opportunity to meet and also capture moments in others' lives. It is my hope, with this blog, that when my memory fails me, the words and photos on this blog will remind of where we were. History...Through My Glass...

father's day 2008

We celebrated by letting Choua sleep in. Then, after nap, we headed out to Crowne Fountain; one of Roan's favorite places. I swear he could spend the entire day there. It was overcast and we actually started the day out with very severe weather, but it's the weekend...we have to have fun.

These were all taken on my point and shoot Nikon S60. Yes, that's Ashton Kutcher's camera. Lots of pictures:

Below: Crowne Fountain in all it's glory.

Below: Claiming his spot in line for the water to spout out. Notice he's the only little one in line.

Below: Just loving it all.

Below: Reflections of the skyscrapers in the water.

Below: Again...just loving it all.

Below: They finally get what they've been waiting for.

Below: Riding on Shang Art Sculpture

Below: Ended off the afternoon with a patio dinner on Grant Park. Sorry...forgot the name. Roan ordered grilled cheese sandwiches with French fries and water. And gave me the Photographer's Child Syndrome look.
