One More Time
I got the wonderful opportunity to photograph little A...again. Did I mention that J, her mother, has allowed me to go back two more times for a total of three sessions? Because I promised J that I would have a few up by the weekend end so that Daddy B, who is in Africa, can see a few. I'm sure he misses his children so much. I don't blame him...look at this little baby!
Ha! Ha! I just noticed that she's giving me the finger in the above picture. Attitude already! Too cute!
Also, lately, I've been getting the whole, "Love your camera," comments from people. I've heard it happen to other photographers and how annoyed they are by it and I do have a great camera (and lenses help too)...but I am working so hard to get these pictures to turn out as I planned. I'm not annoyed. In fact, I am honored! It must just mean that I am getting better.
And to F, mom to the "Beautiful Girls" and one herself, I promise that I will have proofs for you by mid-week.

these are indeed precious. i think it helps to have a good camera, but there has to be a decent photographer behind that camera as well :-). good job on this series.
thank you for your kind words about my father. he was diagnosed with a brain tumor when I was 14 and died from that when i was 24. He definitely was very young--we were all very young but he is definitely one of the driving forces behind all that i do.
oh and H claims she still remembers him, but I'm not sure if she does or not. She was two when he died. Max didn't get to meet him at all. He died two days after Max was born.
Urgh, that camera comment bugs me as well, especially..."Let S. take the pictures...she has a really really expensive camera that takes great photos". I know someone who actually went out and bought the exact camera as mine only to come back to me and ask me why they aren't achieving the same results. Hmmm...I wonder....
I think you did great on these. Her father will love them. :)
wow, you're getting better and better! She's beautiful!
These are great pictures of that cute little baby. I'm sure her Dad will love them!
