About Me

My photo
Thank you for visting my blog. When I started this blog, it was just the vehicle for which I had hoped to share photos of our life in Chicagoland with our loved ones, but it has turned into so much more for me. Life is ever evolving in our household and time no longer stands still. Every moment is precious and worthy of being captured and treasured. In addition, through my love of the camera, I have had the opportunity to meet and also capture moments in others' lives. It is my hope, with this blog, that when my memory fails me, the words and photos on this blog will remind of where we were. History...Through My Glass...

golden autumn day

Roan learned about the candidates today at daycare. I asked him who he was going to vote for and he said, "Obama!" I thought that was hilarious! Seriously, no prompting from me at all.

We went for a walk yesterday morning while Choua fixed lunch. Seeing Roan enjoy the unseasonably warm autumn day, made me nostalgic for the endless days of my youth, when my biggest worries involved my not letting my sister catch me dancing to music in our room because she'd tease me to no end.

I think he loves being outdoors even more than I did when I was little. I feel so blessed to have such a sweet, happy, little boy. Words cannot even begin to explain how much I love him.

I don't know if it's more evil that I enjoyed taking this picture so much or that I actually took the time to put it into a storyboard. In his defense, I keep his jeans on the loose setting so that he can pull them off to go to the bathroom on his own. It's hard to see here, but he's got a little crack going on. It's so cute!

It still looks like summer in Chicago! I'm jealous. I'll be in Chicago this weekend but it looks like the awesome weather ya'll been having isn't going to stick around. Bummer!
