About Me

My photo
Thank you for visting my blog. When I started this blog, it was just the vehicle for which I had hoped to share photos of our life in Chicagoland with our loved ones, but it has turned into so much more for me. Life is ever evolving in our household and time no longer stands still. Every moment is precious and worthy of being captured and treasured. In addition, through my love of the camera, I have had the opportunity to meet and also capture moments in others' lives. It is my hope, with this blog, that when my memory fails me, the words and photos on this blog will remind of where we were. History...Through My Glass...

spins a web

Is it Halloween yet? Is it wrong that I let him wear it just about everyday? Every morning, the first thing he says is, "I want to be Spiderman."

It's funny because this is the first time that he's actually let me know what he wants to be for Halloween. I was sad that he didn't want to be a cute, fuzzy little animal like he's always been in the past. I guess he's grown up a bit.

I've been a mean momma lately. I don't know if it's my older age, but I just have been so short with Roan. I have to remind myself that he has hyper sensory needs and cannot always control how he acts in certain situations.
I am so lucky to have such a sweet little boy. He tries to make me smile when I am down. I can already tell, with mixed emotions, that he is going to be a jokester. He will do and say the funniest things when I am trying to discipline him. I have to try so hard to keep from laughing.

LOL, spiderman. Cute! I love how he's pretending to climb.

Trading in for a full frame, eh? I haven't done any reading on the new camera yet. I've just been so busy. Maybe this winter when things die down, I'll have time to lust after a new toy.

Geesh, with the new camera and all, you better get into biz soon! :)

Hope you guys are getting some gorgeous fall colors down there. It's quite lovely here but I haven't been able to do much photographing - aside from the usual sessions. :(
