About Me

My photo
Thank you for visting my blog. When I started this blog, it was just the vehicle for which I had hoped to share photos of our life in Chicagoland with our loved ones, but it has turned into so much more for me. Life is ever evolving in our household and time no longer stands still. Every moment is precious and worthy of being captured and treasured. In addition, through my love of the camera, I have had the opportunity to meet and also capture moments in others' lives. It is my hope, with this blog, that when my memory fails me, the words and photos on this blog will remind of where we were. History...Through My Glass...

proof

That I should just give up on my attempts at non-people portraiture. I took some photos when I was in Manhattan about a month ago and I just can't stand them. There is nothing special about them. :( I guess I need to keep practicing.

What?! I love the second picture. I love how the focus is on the wording and the dept of field of the building as it goes up. Shows just how great this building truly is! I think you should keep at it!

geesh kaosong, what are you talking about? great shots! and yes, i loooove your bw conversions you use! btw, weddings...gosh...they are hard work. if you ever get a chance as a 2nd shooter, go for it for the experience. i kinda wish i did before doing my first full wedding. i understand why wedding photographers charge so much! i would too 'cause it's a lot of work! i have one more wedding in october and i honestly think i'm done with weddings. i don't think it's my 'thing'...i don't know. it's fun and all but it's a lot to take on especially if i have other sessions (or a family to take care of & in this case, i don't) i have yet to proof and order prints. i'm so far behind in everything right now. :*(
