About Me

My photo
Thank you for visting my blog. When I started this blog, it was just the vehicle for which I had hoped to share photos of our life in Chicagoland with our loved ones, but it has turned into so much more for me. Life is ever evolving in our household and time no longer stands still. Every moment is precious and worthy of being captured and treasured. In addition, through my love of the camera, I have had the opportunity to meet and also capture moments in others' lives. It is my hope, with this blog, that when my memory fails me, the words and photos on this blog will remind of where we were. History...Through My Glass...

grandparents

My parents have been overseas, working for a couple of years now. They are back for the summer and we got the chance to visit them.

It always amazes me just how connected we are to our family. Roan has only seen my parents a handful of times in person and some of it was when he had no memory yet (he was small). However, whenever he sees them, it seems he just knows. That shy, cute expression overcomes him and he goes to hug them.

We did a mini shoot with my parents and their seven grand kids (seven kids under 9--that's hard). Anyways, I think I may have to swap a face or two, but here is one of just Roan and his grandparents, my parents.

this is a wonderful shot of your parents and roan. that's the one thing I always forget to do -- take pictures of my kids with their grandparents!
