About Me

My photo
Thank you for visting my blog. When I started this blog, it was just the vehicle for which I had hoped to share photos of our life in Chicagoland with our loved ones, but it has turned into so much more for me. Life is ever evolving in our household and time no longer stands still. Every moment is precious and worthy of being captured and treasured. In addition, through my love of the camera, I have had the opportunity to meet and also capture moments in others' lives. It is my hope, with this blog, that when my memory fails me, the words and photos on this blog will remind of where we were. History...Through My Glass...

Sick with Disappointment

I am sick! At least it is the weekend so I can recover. We've got a busy one though--a baptism and a birthday party. I still have some shopping to do.

Roan is still a little piggy. I don't know if I should just let him eat or if I need to start restraining him a little. I had to put a cap on three pancakes this morning for him. With all of this eating, he better be growing! I'll need to take a picture of his tummy tonight...it's so cute!

A couple nights ago, Choua and I took Roan to the mall so that he could play. As we are walking, Choua says to me, "I can't believe I'm one of those people now."

I say, "What do you mean by 'one of those people'?"

Choua says, "One of those people with kids."

I can't believe that almost two years into our son's life, he still is not used to be a parent. This is the same man that said, "It's like we're babysitting." Not to me, Mister! I wonder how long it will take for him to finally "get used" to it. He also expressed to me after learning that he'd have to work the later shift on Thursday that he didn't want to do it (normally, he works earlier so I take Roan into daycare and he picks Roan up from) because he still has to get up at the same time in the morning because Roan does. I am so disappointed...seriously! I'm going to return my husband to the husband store.

I just don't get it! Isn't this face enough to melt your heart?
